The school offers job placement services to help graduates secure employment in the field for which they graduated. Upon successful completion of their program, the school will use its best efforts to successfully place the student. However, the student must be aware that the school does not guarantee employment. Nor does it act as an employment agent. Career advising is provided to the student regarding interview, employment opportunities and marketable skills.

In addition to a full curriculum of classroom instruction, Montgomery Beauty School also provides the ultimate educational experience—hands-on training in the classroom salon/clinic. The on-site, active salon/clinic is a real salon environment where students who have achieved a set number of classroom hours can work on paying clients under teacher supervision.
Job Demand
Today, the growing beauty/barber industry offers a dramatically unique "zero unemployment" factor—needing many more new salon professionals than we can supply. There has been notable national growth in the salon/barber industry since 1999 as well as here in Maryland. The total number of salon/barber professionals increased nationally by 24 percent, while the total number of salons also increased 5.6 percent since 1999. The number of salon/barber professionals leaving their positions stabilized and this shrinkage has decreased by 12 percent since 1999. New hires are now up by 37 percent.
